Millie Bobby Brown realizes that her life isn't quite the fairy tale she had in mind in the upcoming fantasy action film "Damsel," for which Netflix had released its first-look teaser.

The upcoming Netflix film sees the "Stranger Things" star as a young woman who, after agreeing to marry a handsome prince, discovers that it's all been a setup. She's intended to repay an ancient debt by being sacrificed to a giant fire-breathing dragon in a mountainous cave. However, this damsel is not willing to go down without a fight. Armed with a sword, she starts scaling the cave walls to free herself. But if the dragon doesn't get its damsel, what will become of the kingdom?

The film boasts an impressive cast, including Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. Spanish helmer Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, known for directing the thrillers "28 Weeks Later" and "Intacto," is at the helm.

"Damsel" is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix sometime in 2024. However, you can get a sneak peek of the film in the newly-released trailer, above.
