Yu Yu Hakusho — Official Teaser

The official teaser has been released for "Yu Yu Hakusho," Netflix's new live-action adaptation of the immensely popular manga series of the same name by Yoshihiro Togashi.

Starring Japanese pop star and actor Takumi Kitamura (from "Tokyo Revengers"), the series revolves around Yusuke, a teenage troublemaker who selflessly sacrifices himself to rescue a child from a car accident. His act of heroism leads to his resurrection as a spirit detective, tasked with investigating cases involving rogue supernatural spirits.

The series, executive produced by Akira Morii and Kazutaka Sakamoto, is written by Tatsuro Mishima and directed by Sho Tsukikawa. It features a cast including Jun Shison, Kanata Hongo, Shuhei Uesugi, Kenichi Takito, Goro Inagaki, and Go Ayano.

"Yu Yu Hakusho" is slated to premiere exclusively on Netflix on December 14th.
