FX has released a brand-new official trailer for the upcoming limited series "A Murder at the End of the World," starring Emma Corrin (from "The Crown") in the role of a tech-savvy amateur detective entangled in a murder mystery.

In the style reminiscent of Agatha Christie's timeless murder mysteries, this miniseries features Clive Owen as a reclusive billionaire who has invited a select group of distinguished guests to a private dinner event at his secluded estate nestled in the frigid mountains. Among the attendees is Darby Hart (played by Emma Corrin), often referred to as a "Gen Z Sherlock Holmes" due to her talents in computer hacking and detective expertise. When one of the guests is suddenly discovered dead, Darby must employ her investigative talents to determine whether the death was indeed a murder, all the while racing against the clock to prevent the looming threat of another tragic fatality.

Alongside Corrin and Owen, the series boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Brit Marling, Harris Dickinson, Alice Braga, Jermaine Fowler, Joan Chen, and more.

Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij co-created this seven-part FX miniseries, sharing both writing and directing responsibilities. While they collaborate on the writing aspect, each takes charge of individual episodes as directors. This creative duo was previously behind the well-received Netflix series "The OA" and the critically acclaimed thrillers "Sound of My Voice" and "The East."
