Check out the official full-length trailer for "Candy Cane Lane," Amazon's new Christmas comedy featuring Eddie Murphy as Chris, a beloved family man who is determined to secure victory in his neighborhood's annual Christmas home decoration contest, going to great lengths to achieve it. However, when he unintentionally makes a pact with a mischievous elf named Pepper (portrayed by comedic actress Jillian Bell), his well-intentioned plan takes a magical twist.

Little does Chris realize that by accepting Pepper's proposal, he sets into motion a whimsical spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life. While it might seem like a dream come true, it soon becomes apparent that it's not the festive wish he had in mind. Now, Chris -- joined by his wife Carol, played by "Blackish" star Tracee Ellis Ross, and their three children -- must embark on a race against time to reverse Pepper's spell. Along the way, they will encounter a colorful array of magically mischievous characters, all while trying to rescue Christmas for everyone.

Co-starring Robin Thede, Nick Offerman, Chris Redd, and Ken Marino, the upcoming Christmas comedy is directed by veteran filmmaker Reginald Hudlin, known for the classic comedy "House Party." Hudlin also recently helmed the Chadwick Boseman-starring biographical film "Marshall," and the acclaimed Sidney Poitier documentary "Sidney." "Candy Cane Lane" marks a reunion between Hudlin and Eddie Murphy, who previously collaborated on the classic 1992 romantic comedy "Boomerang."
