Jesse Eisenberg receives a crash course in masculinity from none other than Adrien Brody in this new thriller "Manodrome," for which an official trailer has been released.

In the upcoming film, Jesse Eisenberg takes on the role of Ralphie, a struggling working schlub facing the challenges of impending fatherhood. Ralphie reaches a point in his life where he needs to define his identity as he prepares to welcome a new baby. He encounters "Dad Dan," portrayed by Adrien Brody, the enigmatic, pseudo-intellectual leader of an all-male support group that grapples with the concepts of masculinity and manhood.

In the trailer, Brody's Dad Dan proclaims, "Pain... that holds us back," before passionately urging Ralphie to "Take back your power!" The film appears to explore themes reminiscent of "Fight Club," if the group was overseen by the character played by Tom Cruise in Paul Thomas Anderson's "Magnolia."

"Manodrome" is both written and directed by John Trengove, a South African filmmaker known for his critically acclaimed 2017 debut film, "The Wound."

The cast also includes Odessa Young, Philip Ettinger, Sallieu Sesay, Ethan Suplee, Evan Jonigkeit, and Caleb Eberhardt.

"Manodrome" will hit theaters on November 10th and then become available on VOD on November 17th. Watch the trailer, above.
