Filmmaker David Fincher returns to the gritty crime thriller genre with "The Killer." The film stars Michael Fassbender as the titular character, an enigmatic professional assassin known for his meticulous planning and execution of assignments. When an unexpected event forces him to adapt and confront his former employers, he's drawn into a high-stakes game.

Based on the 1998 graphic novel by Alexis "Matz" Nolent and Luc Jacamon, "The Killer" reunites director David Fincher with screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker, known for their collaboration on the iconic crime thriller "Se7en." Walker has also contributed uncredited script rewrites to other Fincher films like "Panic Room," "Fight Club," and "The Game."

In addition to Fassbender, the cast includes Arliss Howard, Charles Parnell, Kerry O'Malley, Sala Baker, and Sophie Charlotte, with Tilda Swinton in a special guest appearance.

"The Killer" will have a limited theatrical release throughout October before streaming exclusively on Netflix starting November 10th. Watch the official full-length trailer, featured above.
