FX has released the official trailer for the forthcoming fifth season of the Emmy-winning anthology crime series, "Fargo," created by Noah Hawley.

Drawing inspiration from Joel and Ethan Coen's iconic 1996 crime film, the anthology series has carved its own distinct universe with unique characters and narratives. In "Fargo: Season 5," Juno Temple takes the lead as Dot Lyon, an apparently ordinary Midwest housewife. However, when confronted with a kidnapping attempt, Dot reveals unexpected survival skills, turning the tables on her abductors. This unanticipated demonstration of her abilities arouses suspicion among law enforcement, who suspect that Dot is keeping more secrets than she's letting on.

The series also features Jon Hamm as Sheriff Roy Tillman, a local law enforcement officer known for his tough approach, and Jennifer Jason Leigh as Lorraine Lyon, Dot's wealthy but stern mother-in-law. The ensemble cast of Season 5 includes Jessica Pohly, Richa Moorjani, Joe Keery, Lamorne Morris, David Rysdahl, Sam Spruell, Nick Gomez, Dave Foley, and Lukas Gage.

Noah Hawley, who serves as writer, director, and producer, brings his creative vision to "Fargo: Season 5," which is scheduled to premiere on November 21st on FX on Hulu.

After an unexpected series of events lands "Dorothy 'Dot' Lyon' (Juno Temple) in hot water with the authorities, this seemingly typical Midwestern housewife is suddenly plunged back into a life she thought she had left behind.
