Hadley Robinson, known for her portrayal of Jerry Buss's daughter, Jeanie, in HBO's "Winning Time" series depicting the Lakers vs. Celtics rivalry, now shifts gears from the basketball court to the dark and mysterious world of fashion in her latest role.

Check out the official trailer for "Appendage," Hulu's new psychological horror series that sees Robinson as a young, anxiety-ridden fashion designer whose overwhelming self-doubt begins to manifest in horrifying ways.

This limited series is created by writer-director Anna Zlokovic, based on her 2021 short film of the same name, which starred Rachel Sennott. The short film is currently available for streaming on Hulu, featured as the first stand-alone episode of Season 2 of the horror anthology series "Bite Size Halloween."

"Appendage" features a cast that includes Kausar Mohammed, Emily Hampshire, and Brandon Mychal Smith. It's set to premiere on October 2nd, exclusively on Hulu.

synopsis:
Hannah (Hadley Robinson), a young fashion designer, seems fine on the surface, but secretly struggles with debilitating self-doubt. Soon these buried feelings begin to make Hannah physically sick and sprout into a ferocious growth on her body: The Appendage. As Hannah's health declines, THE APPENDAGE begins to fuel her anxieties -- her perceived lack of talent at work, her deteriorating relationships with her boyfriend and best friend, and her parents' lack of love and understanding.
