Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and director Martin Scorsese join forces for what promises to be one of this year's standout films.

Behold the official final trailer for "Killers of the Flower Moon," a new gripping period epic that delves into the horrifying events surrounding the murders of the Osage people in Osage County, Oklahoma, during the early 1920s.

This film, featuring Lily Gladstone (known for "First Cow") and Jesse Plemons ("The Power of the Dog"), is adapted from David Grann's critically acclaimed best-selling historical book of the same title. It sheds light on a dark chapter in American history, exploring the tragic true story of the Osage Nation.

Forced to leave their ancestral land and relocate to a desolate region, the Osage people stumbled upon vast oil reserves, transforming themselves into one of America's wealthiest communities in history. However, their newfound prosperity attracted envy and hatred, leading to a series of brutal and unsolved crimes that ultimately drew the attention of the FBI.

Leonardo DiCaprio takes on the role of Ernest Burkhart, a World War I veteran who moves to Oklahoma and marries Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), an Osage woman with unimaginable wealth. Together, they navigate a tumultuous journey filled with treacherous twists and turns.

Meanwhile, Robert De Niro portrays the ruthless and detestable William Hale, a Texan cattleman determined to seize control of the coveted oil rights of the Osage Nation through nefarious means.

Adapted by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Eric Roth ("Forrest Gump" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"), the film boasts a strong supporting cast, including Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion.

Distributed by Apple Studios, "Killers of the Flower Moon" will open in select theaters starting in October before expanding to a wide release on October 20th. The film will later be available for streaming exclusively on Apple TV.
