Netflix has released the official full-length trailer for the much-anticipated fourth and final season of the popular British teen sex comedy series, "Sex Education."

Asa Butterfield reprises his role as Otis Milburn, an endearing and quirky teenager, and the son of an open-minded sex therapist (portrayed by Gillian Anderson from X-Files fame). Equipped with his mother's expertise, Otis assumes the role of an unofficial, underground sex counselor for his fellow British schoolmates, assisting them in navigating their own sexual dilemmas.

In this final season, Otis embarks on his first year of college, where students are notably more open and experienced when it comes to their sexuality and relationships. Additionally, the school already has its own on-campus sex therapist. Thus, Otis must grapple with the challenge of finding his place in this new environment.

"Sex Education," created by Laurie Nunn, swiftly captured the hearts of audiences worldwide and became one of Netflix's most popular shows. Over the course of its run, the series has propelled its talented cast to stardom. Ncuti Gatwa, who recently secured the role of the New Doctor Who, Emma Mackey, who recently starred in the Emily Bronte biopic "Emily," and Connor Swindells, currently appearing in the WWII series "SAS: Rogue Heroes," have all garnered widespread recognition and solidified their status as celebrated actors. Interestingly, Gatwa, Mackey, and Swindells also made appearances in Greta Gerwig's summer blockbuster comedy, "Barbie."

Returning cast members Aimee Lou Wood, Mimi Keene, Kedar Williams-Stirling, and George Robinson also co-star.

As the new season approaches this month, fans can anticipate the same blend of wit, warmth, and candid discussions about sex and relationships. The curtain falls on "Sex Education" with its final, fourth season premiering on September 21st, exclusively on Netflix.
