After receiving widespread acclaim for portraying Princess Diana in Netflix's immensely popular British royal series "The Crown," Emma Corrin is now eager to explore new acting challenges. Corrin is now taking the role of a Gen Z amateur sleuth in a new mini-series for FX. And from the looks of things, this character is nothing like Princess Di.

Check out the first official trailer for "A Murder at the End of the World," an atmospheric murder mystery that is reminiscent of Agatha Christie's classic tales. The limited series is created by actress-filmmaker Brit Marling and filmmaker Zal Batmanglij, the creative duo behind the popular Netflix series "The OA" and acclaimed thrillers "Sound of My Voice" and "The East."

In the FX drama, Corrin plays Darby Hart, a tech-savvy hacker invited to a remote retreat by a reclusive billionaire along with eight other guests. When one of the guests is suddenly found dead, Darby must use her sleuthing skills to prove it was murder before the killer strikes again.

Joining Corrin in the cast are Brit Marling, Clive Owen, Harris Dickinson, Alice Braga, Jermaine Fowler, Joan Chen, and more.

Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij co-created the seven-part miniseries, collaborating on both writing and directing duties. While Marling and Batmanglij both share in the writing credits, when it comes to directing, each of them takes on individual episodes.

"A Murder at the End of the World" is set to premiere on November 14th, exclusively on FX on Hulu.
