Ever wondered why there aren't many scary movies set on Thanksgiving? It's a holiday ripe for terror and it's practically begging for some spine-tingling action. Well, guess what -- horror guru Eli Roth is about to turn Thanksgiving into a new horror playground. And it could just be the start of some seriously creepy holiday fun!

Check out the first official teaser trailer for "Thanksgiving," a new slasher film from horror guru Eli Roth, of "Cabin Fever" and "Hostel" fame.

"Thanksgiving" is set in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the birthplace of the Thanksgiving holiday, where a mysterious killer with a Thanksgiving theme is on the loose during the chaos of Black Friday. The film is a fleshed-out version of Roth's popular mock trailer of the same name, which was originally featured in Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's 2007 double-feature homage, "Grindhouse." With "Thanksgiving," Roth returns to his horror roots in a big way.

The film boasts a cast that includes Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.
