Awkwafina and Sandra Oh team up to deliver a hilarious take on sisterhood in the official trailer for "Quiz Lady," a comedy that explores the humorous side of sisterhood.

In this upcoming film, Awkwafina portrays Anne, a woman with an obsession for gameshows. When faced with the task of helping her mother cover gambling debts, Anne is forced to collaborate with her estranged, eccentric sister Jenny, played by Sandra Oh. However, their predicament takes an unexpected turn when Anne's beloved pet dog is kidnapped by ruthless debt collectors and held as collateral. In a wild bid to make quick cash, Anne and Jenny hatch a plan to embark on a cross-country journey and secure a spot on a popular quiz gameshow, with Anne surprisingly excelling in trivia.

The film, produced by the team behind "Booksmart" and "Barb and Star," boasts a star-studded cast that includes Jason Schwartzman, Holland Taylor, Tony Hale, and Will Ferrell.

"Quiz Lady" is penned by comedy writer-producer Jen D'Angelo, known for her work on "Hocus Pocus 2," and directed by Jessica Yu, acclaimed for directing the indie sports comedy "Ping Pong Playa" and episodes of popular TV series like "Grey's Anatomy," "13 Reasons Why," "Parenthood," and "Fosse/Verdon."

"Quiz Lady" is set to make its world premiere this week at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film will then exclusively debut on Hulu starting November 3rd.
