Netflix has released the official full-length trailer for "Spy Kids: Armageddon," the upcoming revival/reboot of the beloved family-friendly "Spy Kids" film franchise by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez.

This time around, the lead roles are taken up by Gina Rodriguez from "Jane the Virgin" and Zachary Levi from "Shazam!" as parents harboring secret lives as super spies. The next generation of spies is played by newcomers Everly Carganilla and Connor Esterson, who portray their children. These young siblings are in for a shock when they discover that their seemingly ordinary parents are actually super spies.

Remaining true to the classic formula, the new Netflix action-comedy follows a similar storyline: when their parents mysteriously vanish, a brother and sister (played by Everly Carganilla and Connor Esterson) unearth their parents' covert identities as elite spies. They must then utilize their parents' hidden spy headquarters to track down and rescue them. Along the way, they find themselves thrust into the world of espionage, becoming young spies in a race against time to save their family.

Joining the ensemble are Billy Magnussen, known for his role in "Game Night," and D. J. Cotrona, recognized for his work in the "From Dusk till Dawn" series and the "Shazam!" films.

Robert Rodriguez returns to the director's chair, working from a screenplay he co-wrote with his son, Racer Max.
