Twenty years ago, we cheered on these chickens as they pulled off a daring escape from a farm. Now, they're gearing up for an even bolder adventure -- breaking into another chicken farm!

Check out the first official teaser for "Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget," the highly anticipated sequel to the beloved 2000 stop-motion animated comedy by Aardman Animations, the award-winning animation studio behind such hits as "Wallace and Gromit" and "Shaun the Sheep."

Directed by Sam Fell, the acclaimed British animator behind "ParaNorman" and "Flushed Away," this new Netflix animated film reunites us with the quirky group of chickens from Tweedy's farm. They're back for another edge-of-the-seat mission, this time attempting to infiltrate a cutting-edge, heavily guarded chicken farm run by the wicked Mrs. Tweedy, voiced once again by Miranda Richardson.

The film features the familiar voices of Imelda Staunton and Lynn Ferguson, along with new additions like Thandiwe Newton, Zachary Levi, Bella Ramsey, David Bradley, Jane Horrocks, Romesh Ranganathan, Daniel Mays, Josie Sedgwick-Davies, and Nick Mohammed.

The world premiere of "Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget" is set in October at the London Film Festival, followed by its exclusive worldwide streaming release on Netflix starting December 15th.

Having pulled off a death-defying escape from Tweedy's farm, Ginger has finally found her dream -- a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock, far from the dangers of the human world. When she and Rocky hatch a little girl called Molly, Ginger's happy ending seems complete. But back on the mainland the whole of chicken-kind faces a new and terrible threat. For Ginger and her team, even if it means putting their own hard-won freedom at risk -- this time, they’re breaking in!
