"The Marvels" is shaping up to be an interesting addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, uniting multiple superheroines with unique abilities and stories. The film, directed by "Candyman" helmer Nia DaCosta, will bring together characters from various MCU properties and showcase their interconnected journeys.

This newly-released official featurette provides a glimpse into the upcoming film's premise, highlighting the dynamic between Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan. Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani are reprising their roles, each with their own distinctive powers and experiences.

The central plot revolves around a cosmic phenomenon that links these superheroines, causing them to swap places whenever they unleash their photon powers. This unprecedented connection leads to a thrilling team-up as they join forces to face a new formidable adversary, the Kree warrior Dar-Benn, portrayed by Zawe Ashton.

As the film continues to expand the MCU's roster of diverse and compelling characters, fans can look forward to a experience that bridges multiple storylines from "Captain Marvel," "WandaVision," and "Ms. Marvel."

Co-starring Samuel L. Jackson who returns as Nick Fury, "The Marvels" is still currently scheduled to hit theaters on November 10th. Watch the new official featurette, above.
