"Scott Pilgrim Takes Off" is an upcoming animated series based on the popular graphic novels by Bryan Lee O'Malley. The official teaser has been released, giving fans a first look at the new anime adaptation, which will be released later in the year through Netflix.

The comic book source material was notably adapted into the 2010 live-action comedy "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" by director Edgar Wright. Despite not being a box office hit upon its release, the film has gained a significant cult following over the years.

Edgar Wright, who directed the original film, serves as an executive producer on the anime series. The original cast of the film returns to lend their voices to their respective characters. Michael Cera voices Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead voices Ramona Flowers.

And the rest of the ensemble cast also returns, including Satya Bhabha (as Matthew Patel), Kieran Culkin (as Wallace Wells), Chris Evans (as Lucas Lee), Anna Kendrick (as Stacey Pilgrim), Brie Larson (as Envy Adams), Alison Pill (as Kim Pine), Aubrey Plaza (as Julie Powers), Brandon Routh (as Todd Ingram), Jason Schwartzman (as Gideon Graves), Johnny Simmons (as Young Neil), Mark Webber (as Stephen Stills), Mae Whitman (as Roxy Richter), and Ellen Wong (as Knives Chau).

"Scott Pilgrim Takes Off" is set to premiere on Netflix on November 17th. Watch the teaser above and prepare to be immersed in the world of Scott Pilgrim once again.
