The renowned detective Hercule Poirot returns to the scene, embarking on a mission to solve the ultimate mystery: the existence of life beyond death!

Go behind the scenes of the latest Agatha Christie mystery thriller "A Haunting in Venice," where the multi-talented Kenneth Branagh undertakes the dual role of director and reprises his renowned portrayal of the esteemed detective.

In the newly-released official featurette for the upcoming movie, Branagh shares his insights. While his prior adaptations of Agatha Christie's works explored themes of revenge in "Murder on the Orient Express" and greed in "Death on the Nile," this new film, "A Haunting in Venice," delves into the question of whether there is more to existence than meets the eye, exploring the concepts of ghosts, spirits, and the afterlife.

"This film is about whether there is anything beyond us: a ghost, a God? Whether Poirot believes in it. And it involves him and us (the audience) being scared," says Branagh in the above featurette.

Set against the backdrop of All Hallows' Eve, the story revolves around a clandestine late-night seance, drawing a group of potential suspects. Coincidentally, the retired yet inquisitive Hercule Poirot (Branagh) finds himself amongst the attendees, inadvertently becoming a firsthand witness to an unforeseen murder. As expected, this incident triggers haunting memories from Poirot's past.

Recent Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh ("Everything Everywhere All at Once") lends her talents as the enigmatic hostess, a character that may or may not possess the uncanny ability to communicate with spirits.

Additionally, the all-star cast includes Tina Fey (30 Rock), Jamie Dornan (Belfast), Emma Laird (Mayor of Kingstown), Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone), Kyle Allen (Rosaline), Camille Cottin (Call My Agent), Jude Hill (Belfast), Ali Khan (6 Underground), and Riccardo Scamarcio (Caravaggio's Shadow).

With its supernatural twist on the classic Agatha Christie mystery, "A Haunting in Venice" is bound to keep audiences guessing until the very end. The film is expected to arrive in theaters on September 15th.
