"The Marvels" is a sequel to the blockbuster hit "Captain Marvel" and the acclaimed MCU series "Ms. Marvel." But that's not all - the film also continues the intriguing storyline of Monica Rambeau from the fan-favorite series "WandaVision."

In a twist of cosmic fate, these three extraordinary heroines find themselves inexplicably swapping places every time they unleash their photon powers. A cosmic phenomenon has linked them, creating an unprecedented and thrilling connection. With Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) leading the charge to uncover the mystery behind this phenomenon, Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau must unite their formidable powers and work together as an unstoppable team.

Directed by Nia DaCosta, known for her recent horror reboot "Candyman," "The Marvels" promises to deliver a pulse-pounding mix of action, humor, and heart. Alongside the leading trio, the film also features Zawe Ashton as the main villain, a Kree warrior named Dar-Benn, who is on a path of revenge and destruction.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau.
