In his latest film, Adam Brody defies typecasting and showcases his versatility as he takes on a role that unveils a darker and more untrustworthy side. Departing from his usual socially awkward oddball characters, Brody captivates audiences with his portrayal of a character with a violent streak in the intense vacation-gone-wrong thriller, "River Wild," for which an official trailer has been released.

In the film, Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester and former SNL cast member Taran Killam play siblings who embark on a white-water rafting trip with a small group of friends. However, their fun, peaceful adventure takes a chilling turn when they discover that one of their childhood friends, portrayed by Brody, has sinister intentions. As the tension escalates, the group finds themselves terrorized by their once-trusted companion, revealing a side of Brody we have not seen before.

"River Wild" is directed and co-written by Ben Ketai, known for his work on the crime series "StartUp" that starred Adam Brody. Ketai has also written screenplays for horror thrillers such as "The Forest," "The Strangers: Prey at Night," and "Malevolent."

Co-starring Olivia Swann (From DC's Legends of Tomorrow), "River Wild" will be available for digital and Blu-ray release starting on August 1st. Prepare for a suspenseful and thrilling ride down uncharted waters.
