The new science-fiction-tinged drama "Aporia," starring the always relatable Judy Greer, asks the compelling question: What measures would you take to regain your former life?

In this film, Greer portrays Sophie, a woman grappling with immense grief after the tragic death of her husband, Mal, in a drunk-driving incident. Balancing her overwhelming sorrow, a demanding job, and the responsibilities of being a single parent to her devastated teenage daughter, Sophie tries to navigate life as best she can. Since losing her husband Mal (Edi Gathegi) in a drunk-driving incident, Sophie (Judy Greer) has struggled to manage crippling grief, a full-time job, and the demands of parenting her devastated teenage daughter (Faithe Herman).
