Jon Hamm discovers corporate life isn't all it's cracked up to be in the official trailer for the new dark workplace comedy "Corner Office," which evokes a similar head-scratching vibe to the Apple series "Severance."

The "Mad Men" star plays Orson, an ordinary office worker trying to navigate the dynamics of a new position within a corporate organization. Unable to fit in with his colleagues, he stumbles upon what seems like a magical oasis -- a serene and empty corner office. It becomes his sanctuary, a place where he can clear his thoughts and find a sense of solace amidst the chaos. But there's a twist: this corner office might exist only in his imagination.

As the trailer unfolds, we witness Orson's increasingly bizarre behavior as he endures head-scratching experiences. The line between reality and fantasy blurs, leaving us wondering if this imagined corner office could lead to his downfall.

In addition to Hamm, the film also stars Danny Pudi (Community), Sarah Gadon (Black Bear, Dracula Untold), and Christopher Heyerdahl (Peacemaker, Hell on Wheels).

The film is directed by Joachim Back, who won an Academy Award for directing the 2009 short film "The New Tenants."

synopsis:
In this workplace comedy reminiscent of "Office Space" and "Severance," misfit Orson (Jon Hamm) finds himself trapped in the absurdities of corporate life. As The Authority's newest employee, Orson finds it difficult to connect with his enigmatic desk mate, Rakesh (Danny Pudi), as well as with the rest of his colleagues. His alienation deepens when he discovers a room he's told doesn't exist -- a place that unleashes his true potential, leading to an ascent up the corporate ladder. Buoyed by his newfound confidence, Orson invites a receptionist (Sarah Gadon) into his sanctuary, sparking a climactic clash between the corporate world's harsh realities and his own wild fantasies.
