The new official promos for "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" have been released, offering fans another exciting glimpse into the latest installment of the beloved sci-fi action film franchise. Based on the popular 1980s Hasbro toyline and cartoon, this highly anticipated film takes us back to 1994.
In "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," Anthony Ramos (from "In the Heights") stars as an ex-military electronics expert residing in Brooklyn who uncovers a hidden war between rival robotic alien species. And it's not just any war—it's an intergalactic battle that now involves alien transformers who can transform into a variety of animal creatures.
Peter Cullen returns as the iconic voice of Optimus Prime, while Ron Perlman lends his voice to Optimus Primal. Comedian Pete Davidson and actress Liza Koshy also join the star-studded voice cast, with Davidson portraying Autobot soldier Mirage and Koshy bringing life to the pink Autobot commando, Arcee.
Directed by "Creed II" helmer Steven Caple Jr., the film also features Dominique Fishback as a museum researcher, who, alongside Anthony Ramos, becomes embroiled in the midst of this intergalactic conflict.
So, buckle up for the epic battle and get ready to roll out when "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" hits theaters on June 9th.
