Tyler Rake is back from the dead! And he is once again kicking and punching his way out of trouble.

Check out the first official trailer for Netflix's new action sequel "Extraction 2," which sees Thor's Chris Hemsworth returning as Australian black ops mercenary Tyler Rake.

Though it was presumed he had died in the original film, it seems Tyler Rake is almost invincible. After surviving a near-death experience (he was "clinically dead nine months ago"), Tyler has recovered from his injuries and is now back on a new deadly mission.

From the looks of this new teaser trailer, Tyler has found himself in the middle of a brutal prison riot. But oddly enough, he is punching out a lot of heavily armored police guards. Which seems to mean, Tyler is looking to "extract" someone from a prison or from a prison camp.

Former stuntman/stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave, who helmed the original film, is also back to direct the upcoming Netflix sequel, which is again produced by "Avengers: Endgame" and "The Gray Man" filmmakers Joe Russo and Anthony Russo. Joe Russo also wrote the screenplay. The original film was based on the comic book "Ciudad" by Ande Parks and the Russo Brothers with illustrations by Fernando Leon Gonzalez.

Co-starring Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani (Rosewater, Paterson) as Tyler's mercenary partner, Nik Khan, "Extraction 2" will be coming out in the summer, June 16th only on Netflix.

Golshifteh Farahani reprises her role from the first film, with Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili also co-starring.
