The official trailer has been released for Apple's new Jennifer Garner-starring limited series "The Last Thing He Told Me," which is based on the bestselling mystery novel of the same name by author Laura Dave.

The series tells the story of Hannah (Jennifer Garner), who ends up establishing a bond with her 16-year-old stepdaughter, Bailey, as they attempt to learn the truth about the mysterious disappearance of Hannah's husband and Bailey's father.

Angourie Rice (from the recent "Spider-Man" films and the HBO miniseries "Mare of Easttown") co-stars in the drama as the stepdaughter Bailey.

Supporting cast members include Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aisha Tyler, Geoff Stults, John Harlan Kim, Augusto Aguilera, David Morse, and Victor Garber.

Produced under Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter's production label Hello Sunshine, the miniseries is created and adapted by author Laura Dave, alongside series co-creator, Academy Award winner Josh Singer (Spotlight).

"The Last Thing He Told Me" premieres on April 14th, only on Apple TV Plus.
