A government conspiracy is discovered by a fresh-faced FBI agent who is working the night shift at the White House.

Check out the official full trailer for "The Night Agent," the upcoming conspiracy thriller series for Netflix, starring Gabriel Basso, from "Super 8," "The Kings of Summer," and "Hillbilly Elegy."

The Netflix original series is based on the novel by Matthew Quirk in which Basso stars as FBI agent Peter Sutherland who is suddenly catapulted into a government conspiracy while working in the basement of the White House at night. While answering emergency calls, Sutherland picks up a special black phone that had never rung before. He is informed of a secret plot that involves the US president. He soon finds himself in the difficult process of proving the existence of a sinister scheme.

Directed and executive produced by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Baywatch), the series also stars Oscar-nominated actress Hong Chau (The Whale), D.B. Woodside (Lucifer), Eve Harlow (The 100), Luciane Buchanan, Enrique Murciano, Sarah Desjardins (Riverdale), Fola Evans-Akingbola (Siren), and Phoenix Raei.

"The Night Agent" premieres on March 23rd, only on Netflix.
