Apple has released the official full-length trailer for Season 3 of the hit soccer comedy series "Ted Lasso," starring Emmy-winner Jason Sudeikis as the good-hearted former American college football coach who was hired to train a professional British "football" team, despite never having previously coached soccer.

After winning much acclaim and industry awards, including two consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, "Ted Lasso" returns with its highly anticipated third (and maybe final) season in March.

It seems Ted Lasso and his team, AFC Richmond, will be facing their biggest adversary yet: the team's former assistant coach, Nathan Shelley (Nick Mohammed), who is now the head coach of their greatest rival, West Ham United.

But don't fret. Ted has appointed a new assistant coach. It's none other than Roy Kent (Emmy-winner Brett Goldstein), the team's former captain and retiree who brings his hot-headed Attitude back to the field.

Co-created by Sudeikis and "Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence, the comedy series also stars returning cast members Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Toheeb Jimoh, Cristo Fernandez, Stephen Manas, and Anthony Head.

"Ted Lasso: Season 3" is due to premiere on March 15, only on Apple TV Plus.

synopsis:
In the third season of Ted Lasso, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them to finish last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the "wonder kid," has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate's contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.
