Chris Pine resurrects the dead to ask some questions. But it doesn't quite pan out as he hoped.
Check out the first official clip from the upcoming fantasy film "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves," starring Pine as a charismatic charlatan who leads a ragtag crew of thieves on an epic journey to retrieve a lost magical relic to stop an army of the undead from taking over the world.
In the clip, Pine and his cohorts have dug up a corpse in an attempt to raise the dead. According to the legend, they will be granted five questions to ask the corpse whatever they want. But be warned, it's just five questions -- no more, no less.
Inspired by the legendary tabletop role-playing game franchise, the film also stars Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and the Furious), Justice Smith (Jurassic World), Rege-Jean Page (Bridgerton), and Sophia Lillis (IT) as medieval bandits who have been banned together to go up against the Red Wizard of Thay, an evil sorceress who wants to control the world. Daisy Head plays her. Hugh Grant also co-stars in the film.
Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the filmmaking team behind the action comedy "Game Night" and who also penned the screenplays for "Horrible Bosses" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming," wrote and directed the upcoming fantasy romp.
"Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" arrives in theaters on March 31st.
