Franklin Saint makes his final stand. And if he's going down, he's going to take everyone down with him.
Check out the official trailer for the sixth and final season of the fan-favorite South Central L.A. crime series "Snowfall," which was originally launched and co-created by the now-late filmmaker John Singleton, of "Boyz n the Hood" fame.
The FX original series features a star-making performance by British actor Damson Idris as Franklin Saint, a formidable drug lord who, after forging a secret alliance with the CIA, has risen to become one of the biggest crack cocaine suppliers on the West Coast during the crack epidemic of the 1980s.
The show, although fictional, is seemingly inspired by the stories of real-life drug lords in the '80s, such as "Freeway" Rick Ross, Nicky Barnes, Jemeker Thompson, Frank Lucas, and others.
In the final, sixth season of the series, Franklin finds himself at his most desperate as a drug turf war erupts. Now Franklin must fight a bloody civil war against his own ex-partners and family members to win back his power and money.
In addition to Idris, the series boasts a talented ensemble cast that includes Amin Joseph, Angela Lewis, Carter Hudson, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Isaiah John, and Michael Hyatt.
"Snowfall" ends its run with Season 6, which is set to premiere on February 22nd, only on FX and FX on Hulu.

In the sixth and final season of FX's Snowfall, a civil war threatens to destroy the Saint family. Franklin (Damson Idris) is faced with losing everyone he loves and everything he's built, and getting through it will mean out-maneuvering the KGB, the DEA and the CIA, as well as avoiding the LAPD's corrupt C.R.A.S.H units.
