Behold the first official trailer for "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," the eagerly-anticipated fifth installment of the action-adventure film franchise, in which action icon Harrison Ford returns as the legendary hero archaeologist who wields a leather bullwhip and dons an old, brown fedora hat.

Acclaimed director James Mangold (Ford v Ferrari, Logan) steps in and takes over director duties while franchise helmer Steven Spielberg will only be serving as executive producer alongside franchise creator/producer George Lucas.

Taking place in the year 1969 and set against the backdrop of the Space Race, Phoebe Waller-Bridge costars as Helena, Indiana's goddaughter who accompanies him on what will likely be Indy's final archaeological excursion around the globe. And yes, it looks like Indy will be fighting Nazis again.

In addition to Ford and Waller-Bridge, the cast includes Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, and Mads Mikkelsen.

"Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" is slated for a June 30, 2023 theatrical release. Watch the trailer, above.
