A brand-new trailer has been released for "Elvis," the new, upcoming visually vivid Elvis Presley biographical musical from Baz Luhrmann, the director of "Moulin Rouge!" and "The Great Gatsby."

The film casts Austin Butler (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as the 1950s and '60s rock-and-roll legend. Butler even sings some of the songs in the movie.

A nearly unrecognizable Tom Hanks co-stars, portraying Elvis's tough and hard-driving manager Colonel Tom Parker. Hanks dons a fat suit and heavy prosthetic makeup and also adopts an accent.

Other cast members include Olivia DeJonge (The Visit) as Priscilla Presley; Helen Thomson as Elvis's mother Gladys, and Richard Roxburgh (Moulin Rouge!) as Elvis's father Vernon Presley. While guest appearances include Luke Bracey as Jerry Schilling; Kelvin Harrison Jr. as B.B. King; Alton Mason as Little Richard; Gary Clark Jr. as Arthur Crudup; Kodi Smit-McPhee as Jimmie Rodgers Snow; David Wenham as Hank Snow; Yola Quartey as Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Shonka Dukureh as Willie Mae Big Mama Thornton.

Luhrmann directs, produces, and co-writes the film.

"Elvis" arrives in theaters on June 24th.
