Behold the very first official teaser trailer for the upcoming action-fueled spy-thriller sequel "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One."

While Tom Cruise is about to battle it out at the box office this weekend with his long-awaited "Top Gun" sequel, it looks like "Mission: Impossible" fans have been provided an early and exhilarating peek at Cruise's other highly-anticipated franchise sequel, which, sadly, won't open in theaters until next summer

Once again written and directed by Cruise's frequent collaborator Christopher McQuarrie, "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" is the latest installment in the action-spy franchise where Cruise plays IMF agent Ethan Hunt.

In this new entry, which has been broken up into two parts, Ethan is back with his loyal team of rogue agents -- computer technician Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), technical field agent Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), and former MI6 agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson). But it seems former IMF director Eugene Kittridge is back (again played by first "Mission: Impossible" actor Henry Czerny) and he wants Ethan to "pick a side."

Added to the cast of the upcoming film include Esai Morales, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, and Cary Elwes while Vanessa Kirby returns as black-market arms dealer Alanna Mitsopolis.

"Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" is slated for a July 14, 2023, theatrical release.
