The people love Homelander. And Homelander loves to be loved. What a crazy world this is.

Check out the official full-length trailer for the new, highly anticipated third season of the hit ultra-violent superhero satire "The Boys," starring Antony Starr as the world-famous superhero Homelander who is secretly a homicidal psychopath.

It seems anti-superhero vigilante Billy Butcher (played by returning cast member Karl Urban) has been laying low for a year, keeping his hands clean. But when Jack Quaid's Hughie, a newly employed political aide, becomes fed up with the government's slow-moving bureaucracy, he calls in for help.

"I thought we could fight Vought the right way, but we can't. It's all rigged," says Hughie in the new trailer. "We have to do it your way." Cut to a shot of maniacally grinning Billy Butcher. Followed up by a series of blood-soaked imagery, including heads and bodies exploding, violent punches, and fistfights, ending with a quick dance number. It's going to be another wild ride.

Executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and produced by showrunner Eric Kripke (Supernatural), and based on the comic book series by "Preacher" creator Garth Ennis, the popular Amazon original series also stars Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, and Tomer Kapon as the other members of the underground team of anti-superhero vigilantes, known as The Boys.

Also returning cast members include Erin Moriarty as Starlight; Chace Crawford as The Deep; Jessie T. Usher as A-Train; Dominique McElligott as Queen Maeve; Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir with Colby Minifie and Giancarlo Esposito rounding out the cast. "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles has joined the cast of Season 3, playing a demented Captain American character named "Soldier Boy."

"The Boys: Season 3" is due to premiere on June 3rd, only on Amazon Prime Video.
