HBO has released the first official teaser trailer for Season 4 of the acclaimed science-fiction series "Westworld," featuring returning cast members Evan Rachel Wood, Aaron Paul, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, and Ed Harris.
Loosely inspired by Michael Crichton's cult sci-fi neo-Western film of the same name, the series is a dystopian thriller where several androids from an interactive amusement park have become self-aware and sentient. They escaped and have infiltrated the "real" world. Some androids have bad intentions and are trying to destroy human society from within.
Created and executive produced by wife-and-husband writing team Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, "Westworld" will return with its fourth season next month on HBO beginning on June 26th. Watch the teaser, above.
