Amazon has released the first official teaser trailer for the new, highly anticipated third season of the hit ultra-violent superhero satire "The Boys."
It seems Season 3 finds vigilante Billy Butcher (played by returning cast member Karl Urban) messing around with the underground drug Compound V, which might be granting him superpowers. But is it enough of an advantage to take on the ultimate evil superhero, Homelander (again played here by Antony Starr)?
Executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and produced by showrunner Eric Kripke (Supernatural), and based on the comic book series by "Preacher" creator Garth Ennis, the popular Amazon original series also stars Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, and Tomer Kapon as the other members of the underground team of anti-superhero vigilantes, known as The Boys.
Also returning cast members include Erin Moriarty as Starlight; Chace Crawford as The Deep; Jessie T. Usher as A-Train; Dominique McElligott as Queen Maeve; Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir with Colby Minifie and Giancarlo Esposito.
