Check out the official trailer for Season 5 of "Snowfall," the hit FX crime series set against the 1980s crack cocaine epidemic in South Central, Los Angeles.
The series, which is co-created and co-executive produced by the late "Boyz n the Hood" director John Singleton, stars Damson Idris as Franklin Saint, a teenage drug-lord who has risen to become one of the biggest crack cocaine suppliers on the West Coast. The new season will find Franklin trying to sustain his drug empire from the growing threats of rivaling gangs and selfish business partners.
Carter Hudson, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Isaiah John, Amin Joseph, Angela Lewis are among the cast members who have returned for a new season.
"Snowfall: Season 5" is due to premiere on February 23rd on FX and FX on Hulu.
synopsis:
In season five of Snowfall, Franklin (Damson Idris) and family are rich beyond their wildest dreams and on the verge of having everything they've wanted as the ground begins to fall out from beneath their feet. The streets of South Central Los Angeles have never been so dangerous, but the biggest threat the family faces are each other as they try not to let greed, resentment, and ego tear them all apart.
