The official first look trailer has been released for "Halo," the new hotly-anticipated live-action adaptation of the popular "Halo" video game franchise.
The sci-fi action series, which is being produced for the streaming service Paramount Plus, stars Pablo Schreiber (Den of Thieves, American Gods, Orange Is the New Black) as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a supersoldier who finds himself in the middle of a deadly conflict against a merciless alien force known as the Covenant.
In addition to Schreiber, the cast includes Natascha McElhone, Yerin Ha, Charlie Murphy, Shabana Azmi, Olive Gray, Danny Sapani, and Bokeem Woodbine.
The series is executive produced and written by Kyle Killen (Awake, The Beaver) and Steven Kane (The Last Ship, The Closer).
"Halo" is expected to premiere sometime in 2022 exclusively on Paramount Plus.
