Watch Jared Leto as he transforms into a deadly vampire in the new official film clip from "Morbius," the new Sony-Marvel supernatural action film.
The upcoming comic book movie, which is set in Sony's Spider-man and Venom cinematic universe, sees Leto as Michael Morbius, a brilliant biochemist who suffers from a rare blood disease. But while searching for a cure for his illness, Morbius is accidentally infected by a devastating type of vampirism that restores him with super-human abilities, yet also gives him an insatiable hunger for human blood.
The film also stars Adria Arjona (Triple Frontier, 6 Underground), who appears in the clip as Martine Bancroft, Morbius' fiancee. The cast includes Jared Harris, Matt Smith, and Tyrese Gibson.
Directed by Swedish-born director Daniel Espinosa (Safe House, Child 44, Life), "Morbius" is now scheduled to open in theaters on April 1, 2022.
