Check out the official trailer for Season 2: Part 2 of the Emmy-nominated Hulu coming-of-age comedy series "PEN15."
The series hails from comedians Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle who play fictionalized versions of themselves as socially awkward 13-year-old middle schoolers.
Set in the year 2000, the comedy follows Maya and Anna, two childhood best friends who find themselves growing closer over their shared experience of female adolescence.
The supporting cast of the series includes Taylor Nichols, Melora Walters, Richard Karn, and breakout star Mutsuko Erskine, who is Maya Erskine's real-life mother. Mutsuko is essentially playing herself.
New episodes of "PEN15" will start streaming on December 3rd only on Hulu.
synopsis:
Pen15 is an R-rated "traumedy" set in middle school as it really happened in the year 2000. Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine play versions of themselves as thirteen-year-old outcasts, surrounded by actual thirteen-year-olds. In this world, seventh grade never ends and the pains of growing up are inevitable.
