Check out the new extended commercial for the six-part MCU mini-series "Hawkeye," in which Jeremy Renner is reprising his Avenger role, Clint Barton.
Also starring Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, the limited Marvel series takes place over a couple of days in post-blip New York City during the Christmas season. It seems Barton will be teaming up with Bishop, a young gifted, and skilled archer, as they fight off adversaries from Barton's past.
Bishop, who appears to have been acting as a "Ronin"-like vigilante, is poised to take over the Hawkeye moniker. And Barton seems determined to retire and get back to his family as soon as possible.
Created by producer-writer Jonathan Igla (Bridgerton, Mad Men), "Hawkeye" is due to premiere on the streaming platform Disney Plus, beginning on November 24th.
synopsis:
HAWKEYE is a new series set in post-blip New York City. Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a superhero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton's past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.
