Marvel has released a new batch of "Eternals" promos, including a couple of behind-the-scenes featurettes that examine the deep history of the titular superhero team of immortal aliens.
Based on the Marvel characters created by legendary comic book artist Jack Kirby, the upcoming film introduces the new superhero team "Eternals" to the MCU. They are a group of humanoid aliens, each with specific powers, who have been helping and assisting humanity since its infancy. After centuries of hiding in the shadows, they are forced to reveal themselves to the public when their evil alien counterparts, the Deviants, arrive on Earth with the intent of total destruction.
The cast features a who's who that includes Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Barry Keoghan, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Lauren Ridloff, and Don Lee.
Chloe Zhao, the Oscar-winning director of "Nomadland," directed and co-wrote the Marvel film.
"Eternals" is being released in theaters on November 5th.
