Marvel has released the official 30-second commercial for "Eternals," the new, upcoming MCU action film from Oscar-winning "Nomadland" director Chloe Zhao.

The film, which is based on the comic book characters created by legendary Marvel artist Jack Kirby, features a stellar ensemble cast that includes Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Barry Keoghan, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Lauren Ridloff, Don Lee, Gil Birmingham, and Harish Patel.

"We're Eternals. We came here to protect humans from the Deviants," says actress Gemma Chan in the above clip. Chan plays "Sersi," an empathetic immortal being. She is one of several humanoid aliens with superpowers who have been helping and assisting humanity since its infancy. The group calls themselves the "Eternals."

After centuries apart, the Eternals reunite to protect humanity from their evil alien counterparts, the Deviants. They are an alien race of celestial beings who are bent on destruction. Their unexpected arrival was triggered by a global energy caused by the people returning from the "Blip." And while the Eternals were keeping a low profile, they are left with no other choice but to reveal themselves to the public.
