Check out the official trailer for the new crime thriller "Ida Red," starring Josh Hartnett, Melissa Leo, and Frank Grillo.

Hartnett plays Wyatt, the son of an incarcerated small-town crime boss named Ida "Red" Walker (played by Leo). In order to free his mother from prison, Wyatt must pull off an extremely dangerous heist with the help of an erratic professional hitman (played by Grillo). Things take a turn when the FBI catches wind of it.

The thriller is written and directed by indie filmmaker John Swab who previously made the drug treatment crime film "Body Brokers," which starred Frank Grillo, Jack Kilmer, and the late Michael Kenneth Williams.

Scheduled to be released in theaters and on VOD on November 5th, "Ida Red" also co-stars Sofia Hublitz (Ozark), William Forsythe (The Devil's Rejects), Deborah Ann Woll (Netflix/Marvel's Daredevil), George Carroll aka "Slaine" (The Town, Gone Baby Gone), Mark Boone Junior (Sons of Anarchy), and Beau Knapp (The Good Lord Bird).
