Feast your eyes on the first official trailer for the highly-anticipated and long-awaited fourth film in "The Matrix" franchise, which sees the return of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as Neo and Trinity.

The film also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Candyman, Aquaman), Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones), and Jonathan Groff (Mindhunter) with Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christina Ricci, Telma Hopkins, Erendira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Brian J. Smith, and Jada Pinkett Smith.

The film is directed by Lana Wachowski, who is the co-creator of "The Matrix" franchise. Lana also co-wrote the screenplay with "Cloud Atlas" author David Mitchell and "The Lazarus Project" author Aleksander Hemon, based on characters created by The Wachowskis.

"The Matrix Resurrections" is scheduled to be released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO MAX beginning on December 22nd. Watch the trailer, above.
