The first official trailer has been released for "Belfast," the new, upcoming coming-of-age Irish drama from writer-director Kenneth Branagh.

Described as Branagh's most personal film, "Belfast" takes place in a small, working-class neighborhood in Northern Ireland, against the backdrop of the tumultuous social and class upheavals of the late 1960s, known as The Troubles.

Introducing kid actor Jude Hill, the film is largely told through the eyes of a young Irish boy named Buddy. Irish actors Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades) and Caitriona Balfe (Outlander) play Buddy's parents. Meanwhile, the grandparents are played by esteemed actors Judi Dench and Ciaran Hinds.

Written and directed by Branagh, and featuring strikingly gorgeous black-and-white cinematography by Branagh's frequent cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos (Murder on the Orient Express, Cinderella, Thor), "Belfast" is making its world premiere this week at the Telluride Film Festival. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 12th. Watch the trailer, above.
