Check out the official trailer for the eleventh and final season of "The Walking Dead," AMC's hit post-apocalyptic zombie-horror series that's based on Robert Kirkman's long-running acclaimed comic book series.

After ten seasons, the zombie-apocalyptic drama is finally coming to a close. But don't go thinking that the show doesn't have much more left in the tank for their fans. Judging from the trailer, there will be plenty of scares and jolts that will likely keep fans' eyes fixated on their television sets.

Lauren Cohan has recently returned to play Maggie. And she still has unfinished business with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Can these two reach a mutual truce?

And what about Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier (Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride who are rumored to be moving on to star in a spin-off series together after the final season)? And what about Eugene (Josh McDermitt)? The last time we saw him, Eugene got himself and his friends captured by a mysterious group of soldiers. And the big question ... is Connie (Lauren Ridloff) still alive?

"The Walking Dead: Season 11" premieres on August 22nd on AMC and AMC Plus.
