Emily Blunt plays a feisty English explorer who is searching for a mythical tree with healing powers in the new Disney adventure movie "Jungle Cruise." Learn more about her character in this new trailer, which focuses on Blunt's Dr. Lily Houghton.
The film, which also stars Dwayne Johnson as a brawny riverboat captain, is inspired by the classic Disneyland riverboat attraction of the same name and takes place in the early 20th century in the Amazonian jungle.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who is also currently directing the DC superhero movie "Black Adam" with Johnson, the Disney film also co-stars Jack Whitehall, Paul Giamatti, Jesse Plemons, and Edgar Ramirez.
"Jungle Cruise" is being released both in theaters and on Disney Plus with Premier Access beginning on July 30th.
