Check out the official trailer for Season 2 of the hit sports comedy series "Ted Lasso," starring Golden Globe winner Jason Sudeikis in the titular role.

The Apple original series, which is based on Sudeikis's Ted Lasso character that was featured in a series of NBC Sports soccer commercials, follows the trials and tribulations of an overly optimistic, folksy American college football coach named Ted Lasso (Sudeikis), who has traveled to England to become the new head coach of a professional soccer team, despite having no experience coaching soccer.

Sudeikis co-created the series with "Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence. The cast also includes Brendan Hunt, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Nick Mohammed, Jeremy Swift, and Anthony Head.

"Ted Lasso" was a surprise hit last year, becoming one of the most talked-about shows during the pandemic lockdown. Season 2 will have Ted, who is normally laid-back and easygoing, feeling the pressures of coaching a winning soccer team as they go for the cup.

"Ted Lasso: Season 2" is premiering on July 23rd, exclusively on the streaming service Apple TV Plus.
