The new "Ghostbusters" movie is not only a direct sequel to the original "Ghostbusters" films, but it is also a family affair as director Jason Reitman takes the reins from his filmmaker father Ivan Reitman. And in this newly-released featurette, we see the two Reitmans having a little fun as they share their loving memories of making these beloved films as a family.
"Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a movie about a family that's being made by a family," says director Jason Reitman in the above clip. "And it is as much about passing the torch, metaphorically ... and the passing of the Proton Pack."
Starring Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, with Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd, the upcoming film follows a single mother (Coon) and her two children (Grace and Wolfhard) as they relocate to a small farming town, only to learn the surprising history of a previously unknown relative who may have been one of the original Ghostbusters.
"Ghostbusters: Afterlife" will be opening in theaters on November 11th.
