Check out the new minute-long commercial for the upcoming MCU streaming series "Loki," featuring new footage of Tom Hiddleston who is seen facing off against an orange clock mascot character who goes by the name "Miss Minutes."

While taking place after the events of "Avengers: Endgame" where Loki was last seen picking up the Tesseract and escaping from his guards before disappearing, the new Disney Plus/Marvel original series will answer the question ... well, where did Loki go?

Owen Wilson also stars in the series as Agent Mobius. He is a bureaucrat middle manager who works at the Time Variance Authority. It seems Loki has been taken in custody for inadvertently screwing up the timeline. As a part of his punishment, Loki will have to serve as a temporary timeline-hopping agent to repair certain pivotal events at the correct time.

The series, which is created by "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" screenwriter Michael Waldron and directed by Kate Herron (Sex Education), also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Morning Show), Wunmi Mosaku (Lovecraft Country, His House), and Sasha Lane (Utopia, Hellboy).

"Loki" is due to premiere on Disney Plus on Wednesday, June 9th.
